The podcast is back! After writing about podcasts earlier this week, I actually found myself recording one straight after. Got three minutes? Pour yourself a cuppa and sit down for three minutes of freelance chat! 

Last week was a somewhat tough one for me. Between client problems and wobbly moments, I was in desperate need of a little positivity.

I’m a big believer that the right attitude can entirely change your day. Being miserable all day because you stubbed your toe when you got up is unlikely to yield happy results. I’ve been reading Lucky Bitch recently by Denise Duffield-Thomas, and it’s definitely reinforced this belief that we can choose how lucky we’ll be simply by changing our attitude.

But what do we do when it seems like life is sending us a bunch of curveballs? I have a few techniques for getting out of a grumpy funk, or get rid of nervous stress when I’m waiting on a client’s email, chasing payments or waiting to dial in for a conference (I hate conference calls! But that’s a whole other post).
